SEPT 6TH @Tabernacle

The Blacks In Technology Foundation (BIT) is excited to announce a special benefit concert featuring acclaimed rapper Rick Ross. The event will take place on Friday, September 6, at the historic Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA. Doors open at 8:00 PM.  Over the course of a remarkable career, he literally went from "Hustlin" to visiting President Barack Obama at the White House, sharing the big screen with Eddie Murphy in Coming 2 America, and occupying spots on the New York Times bestseller list. In the wake of his platinum-selling 2006 classic debut Port of Miami, he has notched seven GRAMMY Award nominations, scored streams in the billions, picked up dozens of multi-platinum certifications, and logged five #1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200. His first single " Hustlin" landed in the record books as 'first mastertone ever certified RIAA platinum before the associated album had been released."  The benefit concert aims to raise funds and awareness for BIT’s numerous initiatives, including educational programs, mentorship opportunities, and networking events designed to foster a supportive and thriving community for Black technologists. Attendees will not only enjoy a night of incredible music but also contribute to a cause that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry.
